Hello I'm brand new to the axolotl game. I was given a melanoid (male) and a wild type (female). Does any one know what colors I could get if I'm successful in breeding them?

I think you would have to find out if it has a recessive gene.

Very true. This is a question for the future as they are only 6mo old they won't get the chance for at least another 6mo. I'm just curious. He's a black melanoid by the way. I'm constantly learning
