As many of you probably know-or not- i am mainly known for my Salamandra, but a couple of months ago i thought i would re-enter the world of Dendrobates.

I bought 4 Phyllobates auroteania or Kokoe dart frog, this is the green stripe type, they are just over an inch long and housed in an exo terra vivarium which was planted up for several weeks prior to getting the frogs to get the conditions correct and the plants establish themselves.

Looking good.
I see you have Adiantum capillus-veneris in your tank. Excellent choice! Always been one of my favourite plants.

Thanks
the hard work was planting it and waiting for it to settle down for a month or so before getting the frogs.

Nice frogs. Have you heard any calling? Do you know the sex ratio, or how old they are?

My wife has heard them calling, but i think i cant hear that pitch, she said they sounded a bit like a twittering bird.

They are from 08 stock, and not sure on sex ratio yet, but hopefully time will tell.
