Hi all,
My name is Christy. I live in West Virginia and have found an amazing passion in axolotls. I have 16 of them and another is arriving this week. I can’t say enough about the little critters~it breaks my heart that they are almost extinct in the wild.
I am hoping to get a program started where I take axolotls into classrooms and do presentations to heighten awareness of the plight of the axolotl in school age children/young adults. From pre-K all the way to high school with an age appropriate presentation for all.
I am seriously thinking about breeding axolotls, but realize it is time consuming and not to be entered into lightly.
So that is me in a nutshell and I am excited to be here to learn and discuss with you all!
