Hi everyone, what a fantastic site, congratulations to John the founder.:p:p

Anyone else out here from Suffolk or Norfolk in England?

I have been keeping amphibians for 35 years but on a small scale and sometimes only in garden ponds. Currently have a few Triturus, Xenopus laevis, green toads and banded newts. Hoping to start breeding this year. Will be setting up several secure out door enclosures this year.

Some of you may be interested a UK forum that is excellent also:

Glad to have found so many kindred spirits and notice lots of Triturus keepers around the world.

Welcome to the site Neil. If you browse the members list you'll see we have a plethora of British members, most of whom are English (you can display the English or the UK flag so sometimes it's hard to tell exactly where they are if they don't list a specific location like Bella). As for breaking it down to Suffolk and Norfolk, having lived in England for a few years earlier in the decade I advise you not to limit yourself so much - newt enthusiasts are thin on the ground, particularly those who use the Internet (though it is getting better).

Greetings..

hello Neil, banded newts ey, nice..
