For the start... you are probably bored with pics of this male but i'm too proud of him and can't force myself to not post his pics

Orientalis females are fat and act laying eggs but haven't found any for now

Since some months i haven't used glassworms and when i put them into tanks, they stand there for long, because newts were not so optimistic to catch them.

I'll show my setup when i'll have bigger aquarium for it (month or so). It's a shame but the newt is living in 40 cm low aquarium - i got it accidentally and had no good hands to give it out. In this one is only a pile of flat rocks creating cave and small internal filter for mechanical cleaning and providing current of water.

He's a lively little so & so isn't he (she?). Sorry to sound stupid, but do these guys hurt when they bite or did you jump out of instinct. It was lovely to see him/her so tame.
