Been lurking on website 4 awhile and decided to post hello. I've been keeping reptiles and amphibians for about 26 years, mostly keepng turtles and snakes. Lately been getting a greater appreciation for amphibians thanks to a little Woodhouses toads I rescued from a 6 year old kid with fireworks. Never had much luck with amphibians before but this little guy has changed my mind. Really interested in sirens - already keep lots of native fish tanks and these should be a natural extension since husbandry requirements are so similar.

Welcome to the forum. Sirens are an interesting choice for first salamanders; probably not the best 'pet' species though. Best of luck.
