A single cloudy eye may indicate a fungal or bacterial infection, or potentially trauma. Cloudiness can also result from nutritional deficiencies, particularly if the diet lacks essential vitamins, although such deficiencies typically affect both eyes. Additionally, shedding problems can sometimes lead to eye opacity. If the animal has been eating well and has not exhibited any other health concerns, in my experience, it is possible for the animal to live a normal lifespan (with one blind eye). It's important to continue monitoring the animal closely over the next few months to ensure no further complications arise.
