Please note there is four stacked together :)

They look like they would be fine. I used tupperware to raise mine. Just have to stay diligent about water changes.

I agree, daily water changes is definatly neccesary in these setups. This is what I know works best for Triturus species. 2/3 tap water, 1/3 pond water is what I use, together with some live plants (After they absorbed their yolk).

Hi Kj...depending on the larvae size and amount i wouldn't do daily water changes in stackers that size as it can do more harm than good..

oxygenating plants like Elodea are best as you can just float them in the stacker also duck weed, the larvae will hang around in the roots it puts down..

OK thanks :)
One last question how deep does the water have to be, i have some eggs, and some taht are older, (please not they will not be housed together.)

Obviously, the water needs to be deep enough to cover the eggs/larvae. Beyond that, it depends on whether you plan to do large scale water changes, or small partial changes. If you are going to do total water changes, then keep it shallow. If you are putting in plants and doing partial water changes, fill them at least half way, maybe more.

My favorite plant for raising larvae is java moss.
