Thats funny!? Most Scientists can spend hours talking about their research? Sometimes they even give you beer and cookies....

Cool. My Axolotl breeder supplies Newts to NASA! I think that makes me cooler by proxy!
Since they are a Government Agency do they pay 1500 dollars per newt? Seems like a newt should be worth 3-4 times what a hammer or a toilet seat costs.

I raise them to 1 year old from egg. They pay a reasonable price and make me jump through a couple hoops since they are a government agency.

I'm pretty sure anybody who keeps c.b. salamanders is cool.

The 2010 NASA experiment was with ribbed newts at double gravity. The newts were spun in a centrifuge at 2 gs. Results indicate that regeneration happens faster with gravity.
