Newts Per Tank?

[richard]

I know that there is a post around somewhere about a formula that you can use to determine the amount of inches of Newt you can put into the aquarium. If someone could dig up that thread or if they know what im talking about offhand, any help would be appreciated.

it's in the water quality FAQ
http://www.caudata.org/cc/faq/FAQwat.shtml
"A reasonable formula for newts is:
(length x width in inches)/18 = total inches of newt
(length x width in cm)/45 = total centimeters of newt"
