Hi I am new to aquariums so sorry if this is a silly question but when it comes to cycling im still learning. I have 2 full grown axies in a nice 90 gallon set up. It has been cycling for about 5 weeks.

PH is at about 7.6
Ammonia is 0.25mg
Nitrites 1.5mg
Nitrates 5mg

My question is how much Nitrites is to much during a cycle and how much Nitrates are good in a cycled tank. Thanks in advance for any help and input :)

In a fully cycled tank your ammonia should read 0 and your nitrites should also read 0. Nitrates in a completely cycled tank should ideally never get above 10mg. Since you still have the presence of ammonia and nitrites your tank is not cycled yet give it some more time and continue to do partial water changes frequently.
