No Axolotls in Sydney?

Hey there guys,

I have been searching for axolotls in sydney for close to a year now and only managed to acquire one from my local pet store about 6 months ago. I've heard there has been a problem with the main supplier in sydney (possibly nsw) where they haven't been able to produce any healthy axolotls.

Does anyone have any idea where to buy them now or when they will become available? I have a 4ft tank with one lonely axolotl swimming about looking for a friend .

Thanks for that, didn't know there was a page for that. Ended up finding a gumtree advert selling them nearby and picked up a couple this morn .

I am not in syd but on the central coast.. have gold x gold & melanoid x gold 5 weeks old.... also have copper x gold 2 weeks old.. if your after any down the track let me know.

Yeah I spoke to a couple of pet shops/aquarium and the main suppliers' stock keeps dying on him.

Last week there was a gold, wild and leucistic at a pet shop in Westfield Eastgardens in Pagewood selling for 80-90 bucks.
