Getting a bit worried about my golden albino.
He's in a 180l tank with my wildtype. They are both about 15cm long. I feed them both every other day with earthworms and sometimes frozen blood worms.
My wildtype will eat anything and everything and is fine.
My golden albino hasnt eaten in 5 days now. I last fed him 4 small/medium worms and he stopped. Ever since he hasnt really done much just laid still on his shelf occassionly going for a slow walk and then staying still again for ages. Usually quite active. He hasnt been interested in any food. The worms were wiggling all over his head and he wasnt interested. Today he did snap at a worm but then spat it straght back out.
My waters are fine, ammonia 0, nitrite 0, nitrate 40ppm. No gravel in the tank just sand.
Today his body looks a bit funny (tried to take a photo). Like one side of his tummy looks round and normal and the other side looks flat. I havent seen him go toilet once since he last ate.
Getting worried, any suggestions as to whats wrong or what i should do? :(

That axie looks very plump indeed. It may be that it's just very full and a bit constipated. Is your water temperature too high? Lowering it will often prompt a poop or three, I find. Meanwhile, I would not be too worried if the food strike continues - that axie is not going to fade away in a hurry - unless the lotl develops other symptoms to indicate a problem.

I think he must be constipated, he still hasnt gone toilet :(
My tank always used to sit below 20degrees C. I have noticed since its been getting hotter its been creeping up to 22/23 so ive been floating ice bottles and changing water to try ad keep it down. Maybe thats the problem. Think i may have to invest in a chiller over the summer months

You shouldn't need a chiller in the UK, even in sunny Kent - a fan blowing across the surface of the water should suffice.

I'd say your axie stuffed itself and is just digesting its big meal. Watch out for a monster-sized poop...

I have ordered some fans off amazon, should be here in the next couple of days, so hopefully they will be enough. Chillers look very expensive!
I dont enjoy cleaning up their poop, but i think i will be over the moon when he finally poops :D

Came home from work today to find it still in the same position with bright green stuff coming out of its back end. What does this mean????
Getting really worried :'( it looks really unhappy and is flapping his gills every 2-3 seconds
Should i take it out and put it in its own cold tub of water?? I dont kmow :(

Update :
He is a little bit more active now, not just laying in a strange position the whole day. Whilst feeding my wildtype last night, he came swimming over and ate one little earthworm. First thing hes eaten all week :D
After an hour he did do a little poop that was half brown, half bright green? Im still confused as to why its bright green?
His body still looks a funny shape though :(
