My axolotl Motley had a strange episode a few weeks ago where I'd feed him a worm, he'd gobble it, then look stressed as if it were stuck. He'd flap his gills more than usual, and I found a couple of worms thrown up, probably twice that week. After me freaking out and posting here on the forum, he seemed to shake whatever had him and was fine.
He's been acting normal ever since, besides the fact that I haven't located ANY poop in his tank since then, and it's been a little over two weeks. Again, I checked all his plants to be sure his didn't eat anything that could have gotten stuck, and he has no substrate at the moment that could cause him to be impacted. He doesn't look bloated or anything, I'm just worried that he hasn't pooped in so long. Should I fridge him? Or just keep an eye on him for a little while longer?
This was my previous post from his first weirdness: http://www.caudata.org/forum/f46-be...k-axolotl/85439-flicking-gills-lethargic.html
