Observations on breeding c. pyrrhogaster

I've been watching my pyrrhogaster very closely this year, and have noticed a few things when they are coming into breeding dress. Besides the tail filament and the additional colors in males, they seem to get longer toes and the paratoid glands become enlarged. I'm just wondering if anyone else has noticed this and if it is related to breeding in any way.

Thanks,
~Aaron

Yes Aaron, I also noted enlarged parotoid glands with my C.p.sasayamae males. Can't confirm the longer toes as yet, will take a closer look though.
I can´t tell you if this is related to breeding directly, but I suspect that these traits are part of the hormonal/seasonal cycle of the animals.
