I recently acquired a juvenile axie, and noticed there seems to be an lump on his side. As far as I know, he has never been kept on gravel and the bump has stayed the same over the course of the week I've had him. Here are the pics I have now, can take more on request. Is it possibly a tumor? Should I worry? Thanks in advance!

Does it eat regularly? Is active or stands in the same position for hours? Does it poops regularly? In my opinion it is just food in it's stomach... i think the only thing you can do is wait and check constantly for stress signs, if the bump does not desappear in 2-3 days it could be something more serious

He eats regularly... he is a ravenous eater and snaps at the earthworms fiercely.
He both crawls around the tank and sits in his cave equally, he doesn't seem partial to one or the other.
As far as I can tell, he has been pooping regularly. I think he seems on the fatter side due to the larger worms I've been feeding him. He's only about 6 in.
Thanks, I'll keep an eye on it, hope it's not serious! Here's an update pic

The seller mentioned that he was from a stock center that distributes axolotls, eggs, and larvae to classrooms and laboratories. His color was got through CRISPR genome editing, so technically he is a GMO? Could this be affecting him, or have an affect on his health/ lifespan?

Bump seems to come and go, and is more prominent after he eats. I wonder if he's just oddly shaped?

Watch it after he eats. Does the bump wave down its side? I saw this on my fat babies and I realized it is just digestion. It could be the same thing. It's pretty cool to watch it ripple down and start again.

Perhaps you are right. I wonder if their stomach/digestive track is partial to a single side, because it's always stayed on the left side. I've never observed it in my bigger axie before... I'll have to pay closer attention the next time I feed them. Thanks!
