umm....guys. i dont know whats happening but my plants are shriveling up and look like they are getting rdy to die. why is this happening.

too much water, or not enough a a first guess, what plants do you have in it?

Without a name or photo of the plant, it's hard to say. But if it's dieing this fast, I suspect that it just isn't intended for where you put it. Get it out of the tank ASAP, it will foul the water when it dies.

would a air pump and an airstone do any good since i have no cO2 going on in my tank?

An airpump will do the opposite. The bubbling takes the co2 out of the water.

Try to give us some more data, like the type of soil, temperature etc.

well the temp is below 70 degrees for sure my room never get hotter than 70 even on a hot day because my room never get sun in it. the soil is the basket you gety it with from the petstore and is planted down with some gravel. The petstore that my famlily friend got it from said that thier plants are not tropical, mopre for freshwater fish. i dont know what that means lol. and i think it could be the water,not enough or too much i think. if i fill the tank 3/4, what could i make an island out of with homemade equipment?

Are your plants supposed to be kept entirely submerged?

maybe some iron will help? with my aqaurium you have to add it to that. But i am not sure if it will affect the animals in your tank.

There are some plants that will dead first and then grow new part and let the new plant adapt to the new environment. And it is also suggested to remove that pot before you put the plant in aquarium so that plant can root more properly.
