My name is Amber and I have been a longtime fan of amphibians. As a small child I was always catching frogs, and salamanders and well, just about anything I can get my hands on. I recently obtain a few 2 lined salamanders, a couple of duskies, I think, and one eastern newt, adult aquatic stage. And I have 2 bullfrogs I raised from tadpoles, that a friend gave me after he couldn't figure out how to care for them. I am interested in learning as much as I can about them. I am also interested in getting a yellow spotted salamander, but I'm not sure about the laws in my area. I'm not even sure I should have what I do have. I've also found myself very interested in axolotls. I've come across pics and lots of information while researching my current sallies.
for the record also have 2 cats, 2 rats, 8 as yet unidentified tiny tadpoles and a slew of fish.

Hi Deliriah, welcome to the Forum!

(Love the cats' names..)

Thanks for the welcome! my rats have a similar theme, the oldest(2 yrs) is Wizzer, due to the fact he peed on me the first time I held him. Almost a year ago I brought home Willow, who was named after a sneaker style that reminded me, in color, of a strange dream I had involving a grey and pink mouse. Then we had our little girl Winter, but she died a few months after we brought her home, I have no clue why, as she seemed healthy and recieved the same care and attention as my big beastly males. Oh and my frogs are Mister Feets as he was the first to develop his hind legs, and Mr. Nubbs, due to the fact that it seemed to take forever for his tail to fully disappear.

Sounds like a right proper zoo! (I won't ask why sneakers reminded you of a mouse in a dream...) :D
