Opinions/input for marm tank ideas

My marms have recently morphed over and spend most of the time on a slab of rock that's placed in the middle of a white plastic tub. I'd like to come up with something a little more eye appealing. I have heard some people keep theirs aquatic and others terrestrial. Since these little snots have been a challenge from day one with getting them to eat, they've finally settled on live blackworms. My concern (from all the previous feeding issues) is if I provide half land, half water they'll go completely terrestrial and not feed aquatically. Regardless, I'd appreciate any advice and even pictures of setups.

I don't know what you mean by Marms, but I'd keep the tank terrestrial. Aquatic takes more effort and is harder to take care of.

Meghan, Triturus tend to have that terrestrial 'adolescent' phase right after morphing. Some have skipped that phase by not providing much land. I think if you had a small piece of land, and made it not-so-appealing to them, they may be more apt to be aquatic.

I have 4 T. karelinii. 1 refuses to go in the water for anything longer than a quick dip. The other 3 have been happily aquatic since morphing.

newly metamorphosed triturus marmoratus tend to be terrestrial so I'd keep them in a completely terrestrial set-up maybe with a dish of water in case it gets too dry. When the newts get a bit bigger you can try making them go aquatic.
