Hello, I am using a Nikon D70, SB-800 Flash and 105micro lense to try and get shots of salamanders outdoors. I am new at with this setup and wondering what kind of setup other people are using in the field.

i use a canon EOS 20D, 28-80 sigma lens w/macro function. its a cheap lense, but it works. im gettting a tripod shipped to me now so i will be using it alot! i seriously recommend a tripod. your shots come out so much more clear. once i can offord it, im going to get the canon 100mm 2.8 USM macro. ive heard great things about that lense. good luck Aaron
