The first time I saw my newts doing that I thought they were cannibals! I was FREAKING OUT!
I thought a big one was eating a little one and I started crying. The shed was so perfect it was shaped just like another newt, a smaller one. Then I went back and read more about them and realized what was going on. I was SO relieved.

I'll certainly try. She (?) is quite the shy creature and prefers to stay in here cave during the day. Unless she's rubbing against the filter to help shed her skin
