The colours are a little off cause I was limited to what I had for paint pens, but I'm very proud of this and just wanted to share :)

this is fantastic!! i love seeing other artists here on caudata!!
Thank you! Of course it was your excellent art that inspired me to share :)

I love graphic art but it is sooo difficult to get decent at it, I had a cheap tablet and paint tool sai when I was a preteen but it's so difficult to translate using a pen into the movements on screen, I'm jealous of what you can create! Paint pens are close enough for me haha

with axolotls would I basically have to keep buying and buying new axolotls to prevent inbred breeding which costs a lot of money??

Not necessarily but if you’re wanting to continue to grow your breeding capacity then yes. Breeding axolotls isn’t a cheap hobby nor is it a get rich quick scheme. It costs a lot of money and time and deditcation

Would Chinese fire belly newts be more or less inclined towards an aquatic eft set up versus Japanese . I'm raising them and have abandoned the terrarium at about 5 months old and switched to the aquatic setups you describe. I'm wondering if I could do this as soon as they morph?
