Right,

For those who seen my thread in this section you'll know I recently lost 1 of my pair of axies, my other one has been abit down which I thought might be down to him losing his partner but I have since seen and removed this.

I have no idea where it came from or what it is, could it have been the reason I lost Mia?

It looks like a dragonfly larva. They do bite but usually eat smaller prey. I doubt it killed the other axie.

What ever killed Mia did it from the inside.

Who would have this thing goy inside my tank?? Should I expect to see more of them?

It looks like dragon fly larvae, i know you've got a lid on top of your tank so it probably came in on your plants as a small larvae, they live a few years in the water before hatching to become an adult dragonfly, they are highly predatory to small invertebrates and small fish but is way too small to effect your adult axolotls. I honestly cant see it having anything to do with Mias death unless it was carrying some kind of pathogen.
