I recently visited my local pet shop to reserve another Axie. Last time I visited their Axies seemed to be in lovely condition, I visited today and reserved one however I noticed that while they were all happily active all three they had appeared to have damaged gills. Two were being housed together and I suggested to the woman working they're area that they should seperate the two housed together as they may be nipping each other in the small space and she said she'd speak to someone about arranging that.
The condition of all other animals in the store was fine it just seemed to be the axolotl who were a little worse for wear.
Anyway the point of this post is should I be wary about following through with the reservation given the physical condition of all three Axies? I have invested in a larger tank but I don't want to unintentionally compromise the health of my current Axie...
