Photo: Piebald / Harlequin

Hello there newt fanatics.

I really hope someone comes along that can help me.

I'm looking for 2 clear pictures of axolotl.

1 Adult Piebald
1 Adult Harlequin

I'm very interrested in the difference between these two.
So if someone has pictures of these adult mutants it would be very much appreciated if you could share a link or post them in this thread

Try googling the cover of the book 'Axolotls' by Peter Scott. The cover pictures a piebald. Hope that helps. Oh and I have heard that Harlequins were the same as Piebalds but I could easily be mistaken..

I thought the one on the right of your picture was called harlequin?
And piebald is (atleast i thought it is) mostly dark or wild with very bright pink gills?

However I could be mistaken as well... thats why I opened this discussion

I found it and indeed harlequin and piebald are thesame
