Planaria

Has anyone dealt with these parasites? I bought a used aquarium and live plants from a shrimp hobbyist that came with these ugly critters. Can I let my fish and aquatic newts eat them?

Planaria are benign. I wouldn't worry about them. If you try to keep the tank extra clean and get rid of extra food or waste they will decline. If your salamanders eat them it is find but I doubt they will.
