Plastic Vivarium Good or Bad?

Hi, I'm kind of new to this so could anyone tell me whether or not to keeping salamanders (Fire Salamander) in a plastic vivarium for a permanent home. It may sound a stupid question but I really need to know. Thanks
 
A lot of people use plastic tub setups. If it is large enough, and furnished appropriately, it should be fine.
 
Don't worry! Just got a HUGE glass tank with the dimensions 121x31x41cm! How many could I house in that?
 
I may be just guessing here, but I think you could house about 3 or 4 in that kind of setup, or get smaller salamanders and you might be able to safely get 5 or 6, if the fire sals are small.
 
Fire salamanders as in salamandra species? I'd say you could keep up to 10 in a setup that big.
