Illness/Sickness: Please help george!!!!

George has stopped eating for a while and has been floating with his tail up like in the pictures so I put him in the fridge. The temperature is 7.7 degree Celsius. And today I notice that white stuff is coming out of his cloaca(see the picture). I haven't see any feces so far. What should I do

I can't tell from the picture - does the white stuff look like mucus or does it look "attached" to him, like possibly a prolapse?

Thanks for your reply! I think it's not mucus to be honest it looks like sperm or something. How should I treat him

Even though it is unlikely to be water parameters, you will get better-focused answers if you can check the parameters (ammonia, nitrite, nitrate, pH) and report them.

What to do depends on what the cause is. If it is a prolapse, the responsible answer is to take him to an amphibian-qualified vet. However, if you can't find one or really can't afford it, somewhere in this forum is a description of how to do it yourself. It is not a procedure you should try unless you are absolutely sure it is a prolapse and absolutely sure you can forgive yourself if you get if you wrong.

Reading your other post, it looks like George is in a bare tank, yes? Was he before you got him? I'm wondering if the problem is at all related to gravel ingestion?

Yes he was on a bare tank. But when I got him(in October) he was on gravel in the pet shop. When I just got him he was well and he ate a ton each time and defecate normally. I don't have the original tank water anymore. He's in the fridge now. I change the water everyday. But he still floats with his tail up.

My recommendation is to bring him to a qualified vet if at all possible. I rather suspect gravel impaction. If I recall correctly, it can take some time for gravel to pass through the system, and can remain in their system for quite some time.
