probly not bad unless its activly bleeding but stick it in the fridge just to be safe these things have that weird ability to grow stuff back cos the cells around the wound go back into theyre embrionic state (kinda like stem cells) and regrow it so no worrys

Any chance of getting a photo?
I'd recommend salt baths to protect against infection, but probably not the fridge unless you were having problems keeping his tank cold. (england at this time of year would be ok I'd imagine?)
And don't stress because as coffo said, the axies re-grow in an amazing way.

this morning sal was floating and i touched him to see if he was ok and he floated to the bottom,is he dead or sleeping

you probably shouldn't handle your Axie unless you washed your hands first and even then you have to be gentle

yeah, handling can be very stressful for them. good to hear hes doing better. keep an eye on him for now and if hes floating maybe lower the water level in his tank/bowl if hes in the fridge so his feet can touch the bottom
