Hello all! I do not know what to do about my Axie Wally. I have had him for a little over a month or so and there is something wrong with him...

1. He hasn't eaten since I got him, and have offered many different things
2. He hasn't pooped since right after I got him expect once in a while there will be what
looks like algae - green and mossy like -coming out of his butt, but only the size of a
grain of rice
3. He gulps air all the time
4. MOST IMPORTANTLY - He is HUGE...he looks like he is about to pop. His belly is very dark, round and really really big.

I have tried putting him in the fridge for a couple weeks and there was no change, but since I have taken him out he seems like he has gotten fatter.

Please let me know if there is anything else I can do for him...also I am guessing that he swallowed some rock(s) in his previous home, but I do not know this for sure

Thank you in advanced for reading and helping us out!

Looks bad! Spit up any rocks/gravel of any sort? And where did you buy it from? Pet shop? I bought an axoltol from a pet shop years ago and it spit up rocks every few days for a month. Other things is it could be bloated. Does it float at all?

Can you get a side picture.

You need to get your axie to a vet - that is not a normal shape or colour. If he has swallowed rocks an xray will show it up, if not it could ne any number of things.

Thaks guys...I am in Rhode Island USA and am not sure of any vets around here, but I will call around in the morning...

Is there anything that I should be doing for him in the mean time? What should I do if I can't find a vet in my area?

I put him back in the fridge today to hopefully slow down the bloating...I'm just at the end of my rope because I feel terrible that I can't help him right now  :(

Well, if you have already put him back in the fridge, then you should probably leave him there until you bring him in to the vet... which should be asap.
Drastic temperature swings are stressful for axies. Best of luck! Please keep us updated.
