Hello I adopted an adult Axie about a month ago. He lived in a tank that had rocks and sand as substrate. His partner died, so the owner asked me to take Wally and hopefully keep him well and alive. Anyways, my problem is:

He has NOT eaten since I got him, he had pooped for the first week after I got him. Now for the past few days or so I have noticed that his belly has been just getting bigger and bigger and every once in a while there is green stuff in his bowl (I kept him in a bowl to keep an eye on him) that comes out of his but that looks like algea...I feel so helpless and now he looks like hes so very fat and big and I don't know what to do. I just put him in the fridge last night, but I don't know if that was the right thing to do.

If someone has ever seen this and/or dealt with it please please please let me know what to do! I appreciate you taking the time! Thank you!

Is it possible that Wally has swallowed rocks in his previous tank (remembering that anything that is not larger than an axie's head can and eventually probably will be swallowed)? If so, then fridging may help him pass the obstruction. Otherwise, this could be something much more serious that more experienced members will hopefully have some advice on. Good luck!

Yes it is very possible that he swallowed rocks, but I am also concerned about the green algae-type stuff that is coming out. I don't know what it is or why he is bloating so much all of a sudden :(
