I just did a water change, probably about 65%, and I treated the water and the temp was just a little warmer than they are used to. Both of my boys started freaking out about twenty minutes after the water change, then about an hour after they have white on the tips of their gills and it looks like they are shedding some skin. I am so worried!

Yep, this looks like pretty bad skin damage. I would guess there was something wrong with the water you used for the water change.
Did you use a dechlorinator? Could there have been traces of soap in the water (for example, from the bucket you used for the water change)?
Could you take ammonia and nitrite measurements of the tank water and the tap water, to be sure?

Normally, I'd recommend to put them in a tub with fresh water asap, but if there's something wrong with your fresh water that might not help. Do you have acces to bottled water or rain water?

Thank you, we ended up using water from our other tank to get them out of their tank and they immediately started looking better. We have been using water jugs from the store, but used our own water this time, we did declorinate, I am beside myself and have no idea what we did different other than I used paper towels to wipe out the aquarium. They are staying quarantined while we figure it out. We tested the water everything shows up fine, nitrates were they were before we changed which has been the one thing we have been struggling with, but before water change, big flowy gills, now it looks like a lot of their feathers are gone :(. I feel so horrible but we are going to get them fixed
