Please report Slow/Busy Server

I was bounced out of the forum on jumping threads to message server too busy an hour ago (21.32-21.35 GMT+1=BST)
 
I've seen a definite improvement but it's still bad. I've sent an email to the support guy again. Please keep the reports coming.
 
Server busy. This is happening to all things I open now, arrrgh.

I live in Queensland.
 
Would get them all the time a few weeks ago, but now its been fine(though I just got 1 of the messages 10 minutes ago)
 
Interesting development today. I tested out the site through multiple web browsers. (tested on multiple OSs including XP and Vista both 32 and 64 bit and Suse Linux

Results:

IE8, IE7 and Chrome- Same slow service and 404s/server busy

Firefox and Opera- No issues at all, fast and smooth.


OS did not matter, except for Vista 32 bit. The site worked fine on Chrome.
 
Well, the "Server busy" messages have been turned off for over 24 hours, so I don't know what site you're accessing.

The block at the bottom of the page that shows new posts on threads and new blogs. I think it was just above the online members list. I noticed it's gone missing too.
 
It's temporarily off - the provider is doing his utmost to prove he doesn't need to give us better server accommodations. I'm giving him the rope.

Error on my part due to some security settings and cached pages on my system.

As of this post there is a decrease in page load time (1.2 seconds as opposed to the normal .6 seconds on my main machine), however only one 404 since about 0630 CST.
 
There should not be any 404s for pages that exist. That's very annoying.
 
I don't know why this happens, but whenever I check back on the forum during the day, I click on New Posts--Last 2 Days. Anyway, I always have to click on "Last 2 Days" twice. The first time I always get a 404 error message, I have to do it a second time to get the last 2 days of messages.
 
That is strange. I've never encountered that. Anyone else?
 
I second otterwoman's observation, it is Very reliable. However today when I logged on and checked there was no 404 message. I am fairly sure this is the first time since the skin change that I was taken to new posts on the first try.
 
It does it to me every once in awhile but very randomly.
 
I found the problem and have fixed it. It has nothing to do with the server being slow or busy.
 
From what I can tell, things have improved greatly over the last couple of days. Any thoughts?
 
For the last 24 hours or so the entire site has been magnificent. Fast, responsive, and not a single 404. I can surf at full speed again!
