Plethodon kentucki

While conducting my research in eastern Kentucky for the last year or so, I've found quite a few of these guys. We also have them here in West Virginia, but my study site seems to be a real hot spot for them. Anyway, they've really grown on me and I thought I'd share a few pictures. Unfortunately all of the most attractive individuals I've come across were in one particular cave on private property and none of my pictures came out very good last time I made a trip there. Hopefully I can go back soon and get some better ones.

Thanks for showing these pictures. I love this species almost as much as i love plethodon glutinosus.
