I have a female P.Waltl and she is seven years old and is 30 cm's in length..My two males are about 22 cm's and another female 25 cm's..I think the overall size of a P.Waltl has to do with how much food is provided,what kind of food,diversity of theyre diet,the conditions of theyre housing etc. etc.
As larvae they are very good eaters and not difficult to raise just as long if you feed them well and clean theyre setup regularly because theyre messy eaters..
And the link that shows us someone holding a large P.waltl posted by Billy James..We can't see if its a adult holding this P.Waltl this could be a child holding this specimen..But it is defenitely a large specimen shown on that picture..
