Hi there....
Here´s the problem....Last week my Pleurodele´s eggs hatch..about 100 larvae...today I found about 60 of the larvae death, some with a cotton-like thing over the body (fungus I guess)....
Some of the rest are diyng.....Anyone knows a treatment for this.....Any help will be great..
Thanks in advance...

P.d.-Sorry for not be more specific about but I´m in a rush right now.

Bye :)

Without more information, it's impossible to guess. Have you raised them before? The most frequent causes of a larvae dieing so suddenly are (1) feeding issues (2) water quality issues (3) infection.

Not necessarily but if you’re wanting to continue to grow your breeding capacity then yes. Breeding axolotls isn’t a cheap hobby nor is it a get rich quick scheme. It costs a lot of money and time and deditcation

Would Chinese fire belly newts be more or less inclined towards an aquatic eft set up versus Japanese . I'm raising them and have abandoned the terrarium at about 5 months old and switched to the aquatic setups you describe. I'm wondering if I could do this as soon as they morph?
