Hi guys
Just wondering if anyone has ever used rubber pond gloves when doing water changes on their axolotls?
I find the cold water not only painful on my hands but also it chaps the skin in the back of my hands. Since I have 8 axolotl tanks and 2 fish tanks at home, plus I work in the aquatics trade I don’t like to use moisturiser on my hands except at night before I go to bed so I don’t accidentally introduce it into any of the tanks I touch.

Was thinking of wearing the long arm latex rubber gloves you can get for using in ponds for when I do my axolotl tank maintenance. Just want to check they are safe to use in water that axolotls are in.

Thanks

I have a pair of rubber gloves I use for my quarantine fish tank that are great. They go all the way up to my shoulders, ill try and find where I got them and post it here
