Hello! I am new to the aquarium and newt keeping hobby and here is my current ribbed newt setup. A 2/5ths filled 275L little planted paludarium, with some neocaridina shrimp, white cloud mountain minnows and leopard zebrafish.
I had the tank properly cycled before putting in any larger animals. It has been running without any issues for a couple of weeks - the two newts don't bother the fish although they have decimated the bladder snail population. They seem to eat the large egg sacks of my pond snail that is way too big for them to bother.
I do want the plants to grow into a dense jungle capable of supporting populations of millimeter sized crustaceans, shrimplets and fish fry, because currently not alot of microfauna can evade predation from the fish.
Would love to hear your thoughts!

This is the whole habitat, a little more than 0,5 m^2 and 110 Liters of water. Needs some more plant growth.
