I didn't end up using the melafix anyway it came too late in the post lol! She only had a minor tiny tiny fungal infection that developed once being in the fridge.
My tanks water is fine, I check them both twice a week.. No spikes nothing. But I do keep getting bacterial blooms. I did have a thick layer of sand that I never disturbed then once we bought a siphon that began to disturb it a lot so I think that's what caused the bloom.. Took everything out and cleaned the slime off and did larger water changes. All my axolotls are in tubs now so they're observable more easily and I can manage the heat a lot better! They're a lot happier in tubs I find, and it's nice to know they're pooping! ?
