Hi all, my first post here :)

Got a pair of juvenile ribbed newts, doing well for our first ever newts. But noticed these on the underside of some of our live plant leaves.

Just worried they were the beginnings of snails and didn't know if to try to remove them? Or could they be newt eggs?

alright,
so these are actually the beginnings of plantlets, which is how the plant reproduces. not snail eggs, just a “pregnant” leaf!

No need to be worried if they were snail eggs, the newts would eat them.
