My girlfriends tank has developed some tiny white worm looking creatures on the inside of the glass. There are a lot of them but spread out, if you watch closely for a while you can see them slowly move. Haven't seen it before, any ideas?

Planaria. Harmless, but you might need to step up the cleaning routine -they feed on uneaten food and waste.

I thought Planaria was bigger! well that explains it.

Waste is siphoned throughout the week, along with weekly water changes.

I've got a sponge on a pole that I can run along the tank walls to hopefully pick up the Planaria.

Thanks for the help

Would Chinese fire belly newts be more or less inclined towards an aquatic eft set up versus Japanese . I'm raising them and have abandoned the terrarium at about 5 months old and switched to the aquatic setups you describe. I'm wondering if I could do this as soon as they morph?
