Pregnant axolotl?, or just fat?

First of all, axies do not get 'pregnant'. The term is 'gravid' meaning full of eggs.
Those pics are too blurry to tell TBH.
But is she definitley female? Is she over a year old? She could be carrying eggs but unless she has taken a spermatophore she won't lay. Most females carry some eggs most of the time, they produce more at certain times of year in response to food supply and daylight hours, and absorb them at other times.
Is she in with a male? Have you seen spermatophores?
Her shape will give you a clue - fat axies are barrel shaped, gravid axies are pear shaped.

, she is with a male axolotl and they're 14 months old, im not sure what spermatophores look like 100% I saw a little white thing at the bottom of the tank. it's up it looks sort of like a white flower she does eat alot lke 2-3x more then the male. i have an acuatic plant that floats and she has just been like in the roots most of the time.

Females start to lay eggs within 24 hours of fertilisation, if she's in with a male they will hav eggs at some point.

Clareclare:Would Chinese fire belly newts be more or less inclined towards an aquatic eft set up versus Japanese . I'm raising them and have abandoned the terrarium at about 5 months old and switched to the aquatic setups you describe. I'm wondering if I could do this as soon as they morph?+1
