Right, I need to pick your brains everyone! :p

My axie sanctuary is up + running (yay!), as I have 20 juvies for rehoming. I want to ask some good questions, to make sure the potential new owners know at least the basics + the definate dos / donts. So, what would YOU ask? :D

I think I'd ask

How long has your tank been setup?
What equipment do you have?
Describe your setup (so not asking directly if they have gravel or sand but they'd hopefully mention it)
Have you owned Axolotls before - do you own any currently? (So we know if they have experience)
Do you have other aquatic animals - How many tanks do you have? (So we could hopefully avoid situations where axolotls are put in the same tanks as fish and have a bad setup and get their gills nibbled etc)
What interests you about axolotls?

I'd be direct: Do you have gravel?
Then again, the people who I'm rehoming to know my obsession :D, and aren't afraid to quiz me... Perhaps a care sheet that you give to the person beforehand, with five points (tank care, feeding, hand washing, filtration, ?).

It's up to you but I have said if you need to know anything please ask me. I also tell them what is required and basically say if you don't, they will die :p and direct them to here. If they are really interested in axolotls lack of experience shouldn't stop them rehoming them imo as we all had to learn somewhere, they just need to be given good information prior to having them instead of asking in a pet shop. And make sure they know that asking advice in a pet shop is an awful idea

How's this for a quick version? Anything missing?

Doesn't look great, I know, but it was the 1st way I found to be able to post it here. Will try to use a more aesthetically pleasing version to email to people ;)
