Raw prawns

Is it OK to feed Ugly raw frozen prawns?

petshop said feed her mussels, but not sure as they are cooked??
 
I think it's ok - i feed mine prawns from the fishmonger - they are raw and were previously frozen - not had any trouble with them taking it or any signs of bloat or gas afterwards

Thanks - am still trying to find things she will eat and that are good for her - i always have frozen raw tiger prawns in freezer to might try her on one tonight :0)
 
I think she will love it! Mine do - Nice fat juicy king or tiger prawns! :D

    with axolotls would I basically have to keep buying and buying new axolotls to prevent inbred breeding which costs a lot of money??

    Not necessarily but if you’re wanting to continue to grow your breeding capacity then yes. Breeding axolotls isn’t a cheap hobby nor is it a get rich quick scheme. It costs a lot of money and time and deditcation

    Would Chinese fire belly newts be more or less inclined towards an aquatic eft set up versus Japanese . I'm raising them and have abandoned the terrarium at about 5 months old and switched to the aquatic setups you describe. I'm wondering if I could do this as soon as they morph?
