my tiger salamander has a large red bump on his neck and its kind of worrying me so if there's and tip please tell me

Ohhh... wow. that might be a tumor. have you taken it to a vet?

no the vets are very expencive so i havent got him in yet

but hes had it for a couple months now and it doesnt seem to bother him

that's good. I agree, the vet would just say to euthanize him. other than that, he looks very healthy. What does his habitat look like?

how old is he?

hes pretty old we have had him for about 8 years but he was rescued from our neighbors animals

his habitat is pretty good he has fresh water and hes in a 20-30 gallon tank with cocoanut fiber for the soil and his tank is always moist

May I have a picture of the enclosure? It sounds great, but I need to check for any sharp or rough objects that he could have hurt himself on. It could be some sort of mutant infection from a cut. Other than that, your habitat and husbandry sound great!
