This morning, I found that my oldest axolotl Charlie had a small wound near his mouth which is similar to this post. http://www.caudata.org/forum/f46-be...xolotl/86349-some-red-sore-his-mouth-cut.html
I thought he probably just also cut himself. But when I came back from work to check on him, his head was covered in small red dots. He seems fairly active and happy, and he eats normally but I'm very worried he is sick. His buddy Oliver seems to do just fine as well, and has no signs of wounds or red dots.
I have to admit that my water currently contains a lot of algae. I changed 1/3 of the water but I'm not sure if I have to add the medication I got from the pet store. I just wanted to hear your opinion.
