So just got back from a doctors appointment to see the tank covered in eggs again. she laid eggs around the end of summer last year and just laid more. when i noticed all the eggs i also noticed she had a red vieney sack coming out of her rear, i posted a pic if any one has seen it before

i am not 100% sure but i vaguely recall seeing a similar post; perhaps a possibility of a prolapse?

i got her in a big tub with fresh water a tiny bit of salt and a tiny bit of sugar "was told it would pull some fluids from the sack to make it easier for her to pull back in" and a tiny bit of aloe vera aquarium stuff to prevent infection. shes in the fridge until my wife gets home. seen online people were saying if theres no were to bring her in to have it pushed back in to do it yourself with a cotton ball. so im going to wait until tonight to see if she can fix it and if not any suggestions on how i should go about this? really worried about her!

My axie had the same issue after laying her second batch of eggs. I put her in a tub by herself with just cool dechlorinated water, no salt no sugar no fridge. Local vet school told me to wait a few days to see if the prolapse corrected it self, and to call them again if it ruptured, did not correct and/or she stopped eating. About 3-4 days later she was fine, but i kept her in the tub for a couple weeks to keep a better eye on her. I don't want the possibilty of it happening again so she is now separated from the male.

i went fishing today for a couple hours. came back and checked on her right away and theres more eggs in the container and the sack "intestines?" is almost all the way back in!!! aside from putting the divider back in my tank does any one have any suggestions as to avoid this happening again?
