I was fortunate enough to acquire these CB 2007 terrestris which are totally thrilling to me. There are 8 in the group but one evaded being photographed.

All I can say is "WOW".

Seeing those pics makes me want to explore Salamandra again.

Oh my what beautiful salamandras, might I ask how much you acquired them for?

Just wow!!!
Those look simply incredible. I wish there was some way to keep those legally here...such impressive animals make me so jealous...:S

Great creatures!
But their color is hitting my eyes ;) I prefer yellow salamanders.

So it worked out after all Travis? Did you get any other subspecies/species in the same batch?

John,

It did work out to get some...I also got CB 2006 S. corsica and CB 2008 S. s. longirostris

Good to hear it. Got any photos of the corsica?

If only I had a nice cool basement to put some in.

Wow! Those are amazing.

That's what a normal terrestris looks like if it is left in the sun too long ;).

Stunning animals!

Holy diver! good looking salamanders, realy love that colour!

John,

I do have photos of the corsica and will try to post them later this week. I just got back from herping the trans-pecos and a bogged down with things to do.

WOW! Just seen this thread, they are truely awesome sals!

They ARE beautiful! I like the fact that they all have individual markings, so you can tell them apart. Ahh...<wistful sigh> I wish mine were distinct. = )

I like to think that ALL caudates are distinct but with some you just need to look REALLY closely!! ;)
