My albino axie presented much the same symptoms as mentioned above and after much concern, stress and late night research.
I have decided that it is just something that they do, I spent alot of time and money checking my water, the temps, everything imaginable much to the bewillderment of all my axie's.
Including Axle (the one displaying redness) so I think unless it is visible blood clotting under the skin and your axie's behaviour changes or seems under stress. A slight flare in colour is nothing to worry about.... after all we blush don't we?
