My albino seems to have red veins, and has cloudy stuff around him. He was fine yesterday, and just noticed when I went to go feed them. The other one, a normal one, seems fine. What can I do for him?

Could you take a picture ?

It sounds like a fungus of some sort, maybe ? Does it look like fluffy white cotton wool ? Is it localised in a sort of "ball/puff" or is it all over (and where) ?

it was around the tail, and I noticed her eyes are cloudy. I was told to do a full water change, put salt in there (possibly put her in the fridge) and remove the filter syster (it was a small whisper one)

with axolotls would I basically have to keep buying and buying new axolotls to prevent inbred breeding which costs a lot of money??

Not necessarily but if you’re wanting to continue to grow your breeding capacity then yes. Breeding axolotls isn’t a cheap hobby nor is it a get rich quick scheme. It costs a lot of money and time and deditcation

Would Chinese fire belly newts be more or less inclined towards an aquatic eft set up versus Japanese . I'm raising them and have abandoned the terrarium at about 5 months old and switched to the aquatic setups you describe. I'm wondering if I could do this as soon as they morph?
